Ranking relationships as more important than others, particularly because of sexual interest, is impractical and unhealthy. Ideally we can have many relationships that are important to us and communicate with each other so well that nobody in our lives feels they need to excersize a veto over our time or actions. When we feel heard, considered and appreciated we are freer to give what we can when it is healthy for us and for our loved ones.
